Porcelain and Fiberglass Maintenance, Inc. was founded in 1955 by an uncle, a father, and a son, making it the first and oldest refinishing company in Los Angeles and in the United States. Seven decades later, the business is still family-run, still headquartered in North Hollywood, and still restoring the same tubs, sinks, showers, tile, and countertops that built its name.

In 1980, Henry developed the non-skid bathtub bottom that is still standard across the refinishing industry today. Four and a half decades later, that same hands-on approach to solving real bathroom problems still runs the company his family founded in 1955.
